NSFW Commands in Discord: Find, Run, and Fix Them
To find NSFW commands in Discord, type / and choose SuccubusBot, use the help command, or browse the current command list. Then run the command in the place it was designed for: a DM for a private session, or an age-restricted server channel for shared adult features.
Find the command without memorizing a catalog
- Name the outcome
Decide whether you want to talk to a character, find media, make an image, reopen something you saved, or diagnose a server problem. - Open the slash picker

Choose a command by the result you want
Talk to a character
Start with the chat and persona commands in the current list. Get one private conversation or shared scene working before configuring every persona and server option.
Find adult media
Use the imageboard command family when the source or tags matter. For example, /booru r34 searches Rule34 by tags. The R34 guide covers that exact search and save path.
Create or reopen
Use image-generation commands to create from a prompt. Use /saved to browse media you already kept. Generation and retrieval are different jobs.
Diagnose the channel
Run /troubleshoot in the server channel where a command fails. It checks the bot's effective message, media, reaction, thread, webhook, and relevant voice permissions there.
Match the command to its context
Private chat belongs in DMs or another personal surface. A shared roleplay belongs in a suitable server channel where everyone understands the channel's purpose.
Search commands belong in DMs or an age-restricted server channel. A result may also need Embed Links, Attach Files, Read Message History, or Add Reactions permission, depending on how the command presents and controls the media.
A server role can look correct while a channel or category override still blocks the feature. Managers can also use /set toggle_nsfw to change the current channel's age-restricted setting on a client that does not expose Discord's normal control. Read command fields before you submit
The public command list uses a simple notation:
<value>means the value is required.[value]means the value is optional.- A field ending in
...accepts a longer value, such as tags, a prompt, or another multiword input.
In Discord, the slash-command picker turns those fields into labeled inputs. Fill the required fields first. Add optional fields only when they change the result you actually want.
If a long command fails, remove the last optional choice and try the smaller version. That separates a bad option from a channel or permission problem. If you are unsure what a field expects, use /help for that command instead of submitting random values.
Run adult commands in the right place
Direct messages
DMs fit a private character session or a personal media search. Adults need to enable age-restricted app commands before using them in DMs. On desktop or web, open User Settings → Messaging Permissions → Content Filters and enable Allow access to age-restricted commands from apps in DMs. Older layouts may place this under Content & Social. If the toggle is missing in your iOS app, change it from desktop or web. The separate age-restricted-server toggle controls server access, not DM commands. After enabling it, return to the DM and type / again.
A shared server channel
Adult commands belong in an age-restricted channel. Check who can view the channel, then make sure SuccubusBot can send the kind of response the command needs. Keep ordinary chat in ordinary channels.
Follow your server's existing layout. If you already separate SFW and NSFW bot use, test in the adult bot channel. If you use a personal server to organize private sessions, separate channels can keep different characters or ongoing stories from becoming one long feed. Add that structure only when it helps you find the next session.
Test a command manually before attaching it to an AutoCommand or expanding the setup. One successful manual run proves more about the setup than a schedule that repeats the same error.
Fix missing or failed NSFW commands
Q: Why do SuccubusBot commands not appear when I type /?
A: In a server, confirm SuccubusBot is installed there and that you can view the channel. In DMs, enable age-restricted app commands in Discord User Settings on web or desktop, then reopen the DM. Use the public command list to confirm the command still exists.
Q: Why does an adult command say the channel is not age-restricted?
A: Move to a channel already marked Age-Restricted, or update the current channel through Discord desktop/web. A manager can try /set toggle_nsfw when the client does not show the normal setting. Recheck channel access after changing it.
Q: Why does the command appear but the bot cannot reply?
A: Run /troubleshoot in that channel. Fix the permissions tied to the response: Send Messages for text, Embed Links for rich cards, Attach Files for media, Add Reactions for controls, thread permissions for thread features, and Connect/Speak for voice features. Check category and channel overrides as well as the bot's role.
Q: Why does a command work in one channel but not another?
A: The second channel may have a different age setting or permission override. Compare the two channels rather than changing the whole server. Run /troubleshoot in the failing channel so the result reflects that channel’s settings.
Q: Why do the options differ from an older guide or screenshot?
A: Use Discord's current picker, /help, and the live command list. Command names and options can change, and the picker is the closest view of what your account can use in that context.
Q: What should I do with a premium or usage-limit message?
A: Read the requirement in the response before retrying. Choose another available command, earn or use the relevant product credit when offered, or review the current Premium options. Do not assume every adult command has the same limit or unlock.
Q: Should I use text prefixes or slash commands?
A: Start with slash commands. Discord labels the inputs and shows available options, which makes a first run easier to correct. Custom prefixes exist, but they are more useful after you already know the command and its fields.
